Canon 5D Mark IIIMy primary camera body. Newly designed 22.3 Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, 14-bit A/D conversion, wide range ISO setting 100-25600 (L:50, H1: 51200, H2: 102400) for shooting from bright to dim light and next generation DIGIC 5+ Image Processor for enhanced noise reduction and exceptional processing speed. Crazy accuracy and better low light performance than it's predecessor.
Photoshop CS6When Lightroom isn't enough you take it to the next level. Photoshop's capabilities with layers are only limited by the user.
Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM ArtI call this lens the cinematic lens. Why? Well, if the 50mm is the closest to the human eye perspective, then I say this is what the eye expects to see if life were a movie. The wideness is more story telling because it puts subjects in context with their surroundings. This lens is very sharp wide open with heavier vignetting. I personally love the moodiness the vignette adds to photos.

Lightroom 5Lightroom does an excellent job of getting initial raw processing underway. Auto aspect correction with lenses and chromatic aberration correction help level the playing field. It's convenient for organizing files and exporting them to proper locations on the hard drive. The basic development module can keep you out of Photoshop for most pictures. Really cool additions made to Lightroom 5!
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USMThe sharpest zoom lens Canon makes aside from the EF 200-400 f/4.0L 1.4x IS USM which is six times more expensive! This lens is my bread and butter during ceremonies and portrait sessions. It focuses fast and unbelievably accurately. With the added bonus of amazing contrast low flare this is one of my favorite lenses.
Elinchrom 74" Octa Light BankThis is the largest Octa Elinchrom offers. This huge light source creates amazing quality soft wrapping light. Photographers like Nigel Barker and Joe McNally use this exact model.
Pocketwizard FlexTT5Dedicated specifically to the Canon E-TTL II flash control system. It simply slides directly into the camera's hot shoe, and there are no special settings to make or modes to call up. Use the camera, on-camera flash, or flash commander controls for flash compensation, zone and ratio control. It supports single or multiple dedicated flash units.
Elinchrom Ranger QuadraThe Elinchrom Ranger Quadra Hybrid RX Pack delivers an impressive 400W/s of power in a small package that weighs in at only 6.6 lb. Besides power it offers speed and can recycle in 0.41 to 2.26 seconds at 115V at flash durations as fast of nearly 1/6,000 sec when using the included.
Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L IIThe TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II Tilt-Shift Lens from Canon is a wide-angle lens for EF mount cameras. It provides tilt-shift functions to control perspective and correct convergence of lines within your frame. It is especially useful in architecture, landscape, and product photography. The optical tilt mechanisms enable precise control of depth of field along with perspective control.
Pocketwizard PowerST4If you're using a Ranger then you HAVE TO have one of these. More reliable and faster than the Skyport system, these will take a lot of the hassle out of using Rangers. Adjusting the power is as easy as moving the dial on flash compensation. You can also us hyper sync and shoot beyond the 250th/sec limit of the Skyport system I've shot at 4000th/sec with minimal clipping!
Canon EF 50mmf/1.8 IIThe "nifty fifty" is a standard length prime lens with a fast maximum aperture of f/1.8. It is effective in low light situations and offers shallow depth of field focus. At just 4.6 oz it is a particularly lightweight lens ideal for everyday use.
PocketWizard MiniTT1Part of an ultra-versatile radio slave system, and is dedicated specifically to the Canon i-TTL flash control system. It simply slides directly into the camera's hot shoe, and there are no special settings to make or modes to call up. Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG USMStandard lens that provides a large maximum aperture of f/1.4. Its large f/1.4 aperture allows for sharply defined contrasty images against a nicely blurred background. The lens offers superior peripheral brightness even at the maximum aperture, and corrects for possible flare.

Profoto B1The first TTL strobe ever made. It combines the robustness of strobes with the convenience of speed lights. It doesn't have hyper sync, but I compensate by using ND filters. This flash eliminates the need for light meters and makes you king in fast past environments i.e. when I'm shooting weddings.
Canon 85mm f/1.2L II USMThis lens combines large aperture with a longer focal range to be the at bokeh. When considering my favorite shots, this lens has taken most of them.
Profoto Air TTLCThe commander for the Profoto B1. This transmitter can switch between manual and TTL modes, as well as work with 3 different groups. It also has 1st and 2nd curtain sync and controls the modeling light. Control from afar.
Canon 600EX-RTCanon's newest flagship Speelight. Good option to take when bulkier lighting equipment isn't appropriate. TTL, E-TTL II & A-TTL compatible, GN 197' (60 m), exceptionally element resistance, zoom flash head: 20-200mm Range, Dot Matrix LCD Panel and Backlit Button, and a new feature of color filter holder for gelatin filters.
Mettle 600w Strobe and Battery PackThis strobe was the very first strobe lighting I bought. It actually worked amazing for the price. It had an attachable battery pack so you can take it anywhere. The mount can take a number of modifiers too because it's a Bowens mount. At 1/10th the price of Profoto it's a great starting point for strobe lighting.

Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0L USMWell rounded with decent sharpness, this lens is the utility lens. If you're ever about to walk out the door and have no idea what you're going to shoot, take this lens. at 105mm f/4.0 you can take nice portraits and 24mm take good landscapes. Image stabilization never hurts either. Plus if you're walking all day this lens isn't a burden to have around.
Profoto Beauty DishDesigned to give a wide, uniform and softlight as well as shadow definition, when mounted to a Profoto flash head. The gradual fall-off makes it perfect for close-up beauty photography.
Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USMHigh performance, water-resistant, ultra wide-angle L-series zoom lens. An f/2.8 maximum aperture is effective in low light situations and offers shallow depth of field focus control. The optical design has been improved to offer better edge-to-edge image quality. In addition, it features 3 high-precision aspherical lens elements, each of a different type: ground, replica and GMo. Its ultrasonic motor (USM) and improved AF algorithms will help the lens to focus faster and quieter. Precise manual focus is supported even in One Shot AF mode and a truly round aperture results in pleasing background blur.

Macbook ProMacBook Pro features Intel's new third-generation Core architecture for a boost in processor and memory speeds. New next-generation graphics deliver performance levels that are up to 60 percent faster than before. And high-speed Thunderbolt I/O lets you transfer data at rates up to 10 GBps. My Macbook Pro is 2.7 Ghz Intel Core i7, 16GB Ram, and 750GB hard drive.
Proline Carbon Fiber TripodWhile this seems like a rip off imitation off Manfrotto this tripod really holds it's own. It's light weight, folds to 18', has grip clamp legs, and can support up to 25.lbs on the ball head. Half the price with the same quality.
Canon 6DThis is the backup body. Sometimes I bring it as the primary though. The Canon 6D is 20.2MP, has 11 focus points, and shoots 4.5 FPS. Where it becomes more useful is in it's wireless ability. The 6D can be fired wirelessly through mobile and tablet devices. It also does a better job shooting in low light, and at half the cost of the Mark III, it's a less expensive path to a full-frame DSLR.
Lowepro Pro Messenger Bag 180 AW
A shooters bag. It's slightly larger than the Pro Messenger 160 AW. This is a slightly different style of bag than a traditional shoulder bag since it features Lowepro's exclusive FlexFlap that opens and closes without buckles or snaps. The touch fastened closure opens and closes with ease. The bag is made to hold a pro DSLR with grip and attached 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom lens, plus two extra lenses and a flash in main compartment or pro DSLR with grip (body only) in front pocket, plus three lenses and a flash in the zippered compartment.
Canon EOS MThe EOS M is Canon's first mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. Paired with the EF-M Adapter, it can take any Canon lens. I use it as a travel/scouting body. The image quality is on par with the Canon T5i DSLR.
Canon EF-M AdapterI just mentioned this above, but there's still something else to note about it. The knockoff adapters work just as well as the official Canon adapter. They also cost less than half the price!
Elinchrom Rotalux 39" Deep OctaOut of any modifier I own this is my favorite. The deepness gives it that contrasty shadow look I love in my portraits. It's like soft box meets beauty dish. I tend to use it with a hooded diffuser to control the light better.
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USMThe utmost in optical construction, including ultra-low dispersion lens elements and moisture and dustproof seal structure on the barrel. Its 100mm focal length is effective for portraiture and other telephoto applications and as a macro lens with 1:1 magnification and a 12" minimum focus distance, it is ideal for life-size close-up imaging.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USMAt over three times the price of the Sigma 50mm EX DG HSM the Canon offers 1/2 a stop more light and more accurate focus (at times.) It was never my favorite lens. But if you want the bokeh ability than you're either using this guy, the 85mm 1.2L (my favorite out of the bokeh kings), or the legendary 50mm f/1.0L (at four times the price).
PocketWizard AC3Without the AC3 the PowerST4 can lose it's reference point for power output and get really frustrating. The AC3 eliminates that problem while also giving you zone control. It's not an optional bu
